Thank you for visiting our website! Spanky's Kennels are located in SW MO & our goal as a kennel is to produce quaility dual purpose coonhounds. Mike & I have been married for 16 years now and have three wonderful boys, Jon, Mike, & Zack. Mike was born in the heart of the Ozarks & has been hunting with his father since he was old enough to walk. Coonhounds has always been Mike's passion and after we were married he took me to my first coonhunt. I instantly fell in love with the bench shows and have been showing ever since. Mike is the competition hunter in the family & hunts in UKC & PKC. I love the UKC & AKC bench shows & in the last few years have branched into UKC conformation shows. We are not avid breeders because we like the motto "quality not quantity". We want to be able to spend the time with our pups socializing & training them which we feel you cannot do when you produce to many. This is our feeling and my not work for everyone. We have been able to produce some very nice young dogs over the years which have went on to succeed in the woods as well as on the bench.
